Japanese Maple – Acer Palmatum
Acer palmatum are a traditional Japanese specimen tree. They can be grown in pots, as bonsai or as striking large specimens with bold foliage and shape in gardens. Their shape varies and can be selected and trained from the early stages of propagation to have top form growth where the lower branches are removed or they can have the lower branches left to form a more bush shape. They are deciduous and have many different autumnal colours.
